Macximise Go back to Index

What?

Macximise was formed in April 1991 in response to customer demand for ways of improving the effectiveness of their use of personal computers* to meet their business needs.

*'Personal Computers' includes Windows PC's and Apple Macintosh.

Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, MACximise is well placed to serve clients in the Thames Valley and South of England.

Why?

All the normal suppliers are driven by the need to sell, but with ever reducing margins on hardware and software, they are less able to provide the support customers want, even if motivated to do so.

Many computer users express concern with the level of application support available from dealers, software companies and distributors. In general, they feel badly let down and very much on their own.

Who?

Macximise's full-time computer expert, David Rhydderch, gained many years experience in Field Service as Computer Engineer, Service Manager and Support Manager before moving into mini-computer hardware and software sales.

David met Macintosh in 1988 and has developed an in-depth knowledge of Macintosh hardware and software applications, their business use and their limitations.

From 1993 this knowledge has been further enhanced by the use of, and development on, Windows systems.

David has particular expertise in custom database design, accounting and Excel programming, and offers comprehensive support to customers by means of the user support contract.
